fc_smorgasbord, prompt "plan".
Anna’s plans can be a little shaky sometimes. She’s not always great on details, relying more on faith and improvisation, but this time she’d been very focused on the details. She’d practically waved the details in Kristoff’s face.
Unfortunately, he hadn’t quite picked up on that.
Because before she’d left for Misthaven, Anna had told Kristoff to take care of Elsa. She’d puffed herself up and narrowed her eyes, in that this-is-important-Kristoff way of hers, and told him not to let Elsa feel lonely.
And Kristoff understood that, or at least he thought he did.
Even when she’d grasped his hands and glared up at him with her most serious expression, when she’d told him to do whatever it takes, he still hadn’t seen the meaning behind her words.
Now she’s gone, and Kristoff wishes he’d paid more attention. He wishes he’d thought to ask questions. He wishes his fiancée wasn’t so damn crazy, even if he loves that craziness as much as he loves every other part of her.
All he’s got to guide him is the note she’d tucked under Sven’s harness, because she clearly hadn’t trusted him to get what she was really saying.
She’d been right to not trust that, obviously.
‘Kiss her sadness away. Hold her close, make love to her slowly, touch her gently.’
He’s read the note so many times the words are burned into his mind.
Anna’s not only given him permission to be with her sister, she’s practically insisted.
Sometimes Kristoff thinks his life can’t get any weirder.
Of course, no matter what Anna may insist, the plan seems doomed from the start. Because Elsa is beautiful and regal and so strong yet so fragile, and admittedly Kristoff is attracted to her in a way he’d never planned to tell Anna about, although Anna apparently knows.
But Elsa would never be attracted to Kristoff.
Except that as she warms to him, as she begins to smile at the sight of him, he starts to wonder if maybe it could be possible.
The first time he kisses her, he gets his answer. It’s a soft and hungry moan, muffled as she moves against him, arms sliding around his neck.
Anna’s plan, it turns out, was sound. But it’s Anna, so of course there has to be one little detail that got messed up, because that’s just how it goes with her.
Elsa does not like to be touched gently. She likes it when Kristoff hauls her in roughly, when he kisses her senseless. She likes it when his fingers dig into her hips while she rides him. She likes it when he firmly cups her breasts as her back arches in pleasure.
Kristoff has shown Elsa the note, of course. He’d showed her before that first kiss between them, and Elsa’s eyes had widened, before smiling fondly at her sister’s strange whims.
That’s the thing about Anna’s plans. They’re shaky, but somehow they always work out for the best.
