It’s common knowledge that fairies need to keep their wings dry. Sure, it’s not the end of the world if their wings do get wet, but it means they can’t fly until they’ve dried out, which is just plain annoying.

All in all, it makes taking a bath kind of awkward.

What isn’t common knowledge is that water fairies have a special technique for bathing that doesn’t involve their wings getting wet.

Okay, maybe the reason that special technique isn’t common knowledge is because Tinker Bell isn’t actually sure it’s real. She doesn’t have any proof that it exists, but it’s a theory that she’s pretty confident in.

Which is why she made the decision to invite Silvermist over to her place.

In hindsight, it probably could be considered kind of strange to invite somebody over to bathe with you. But Tinker Bell knows once she gets an idea into her head she tends to forget about those kinds of details, so it hadn’t occurred to her at the time to clarify what she was actually planning.

Turns out Silvermist had some plans of her own.

Which is why they’re both in Tinker Bell’s seashell bathtub, pressed chest to chest, slippery slide of their naked breasts moving together as Silvermist shifts in her lap. Her lips press against Tinker Bell’s throat, the curve of her neck where it joins her shoulder. Making happy, contented noises that flutter against Tinker Bell’s skin as she kisses everywhere she can reach.

It’s not what Tinker Bell had in mind, but she’s most definitely not complaining.

Silvermist’s thighs bracket Tinker Bell’s hips, straddling her, squeezing her a little in the confined space, and the water is starting to get cold but Tinker Bell barely notices because every brush of Silvermist’s lips sends a thrill of heat through her.

Her wings are soaked, so it turns out her theory fell flat, but for once Tinker Bell officially doesn’t care about being wrong.
