Skye’s frowning in concentration, knees pulled up to her chest as her eyes track code across her laptop screen. Jemma’s trying to focus on her own work, but her gaze keeps being drawn back to the way Skye chews absent-mindedly at her nails, lips soft and inviting.
She’s wearing an old sweater, oversized and stretched out at the neck. It’s pulled forward and down over her raised knees, hem all the way down to her feet, keeping her all bundled up.
Jemma knows for a fact that Skye’s naked beneath the sweater. It’s incredibly distracting.
Every time Skye leans forward, Jemma gets a glimpse of cleavage beneath the neckline, a tease of shadows behind her feet. She glances down and realises she’s written ‘skin’ and ‘want’ in the middle of an equation.
“Hey, can you help me out a moment?” Skye asks, snapping Jemma out of her revelry. She stretches her legs out in front of her as Jemma crosses the room, and Jemma tries not to look, even though it’s practically impossible.
“What do you need?” she asks politely, perching on the bed.
Skye reaches for her hand, smiling deviously as she tugs it close, pushing Jemma’s fingers up beneath the sweater’s worn fabric.
“What I need is for you to take responsibility,” she teases. “I could feel you looking at me, getting me all wound up.”
Her skin is so warm beneath Jemma’s hand.
“Okay,” Jemma giggles, shifting closer, settling between Skye’s thighs. “But leave the sweater on!”
