Ruby’s movements are sloppy, haphazard. Stalking across the diner, distracted and irritable, managing to spill beer all over Leroy’s lap. He jumps up, ready to start yelling, but one look at Ruby’s expression and he sinks back down, muttering that it’s no big deal, accidents happen.
Belle doesn’t mean to be cruel but, really, Ruby is just too easy to tease like this.
The bell over the door tingles as Emma and Mary Margaret walk in, and Ruby greets them with a voice that’s blunt and sullen.
“What’s with her?” Emma asks with a raised eyebrow, taking in the chaos, the beer pooling around Leroy’s chair.
Belle flips the page of her book and tries not to grin.
“Why so crabby, Ruby?” Mary Margaret asks, looking concerned, and Ruby shoots Belle a glare but doesn’t comment.
Belle knows she’ll pay for this later, when they’re alone and Ruby can pin her against the bed. But for now she’s having too much fun.
One hand rests lightly against her book, but the other is under her skirt, working between her legs, and Belle lets out a soft sigh that nobody but Ruby’s heightened senses will be able to hear. She’s so wet, throbbing around her own fingers, trying not to buck her hips too obviously into the touch.
Wouldn’t do to catch anyone else’s attention; this little show is for Ruby alone.
