Sanji brushed his hands over the jacket’s lapels, turning slightly to examine it more fully in the mirror.

Not bad, considering how little selection there’d been. Snug but comfortable, and there was enough flexibility there that it might stand up to the fight that was sure to happen once they found the shitty thief who’d stolen the Going Merry.

He really wasn’t sure what was up with a wedding rental store being the only shop open on the island, although it probably had something to do with Luffy’s raised bounty and their growing reputation.

He emerged from the fitting rooms, feeling better for not having to wander the streets in just his swimming trunks.

Of course, his good mood faltered and died at the snort that came from Zoro’s direction, and the swordsman was definitely smirking when Sanji turned to glare at him.

“What?” he snarled, shoving his hands into his pockets.

“That,” Zoro replied easily, looking Sanji up and down and failing to stop smirking.

“It’s a tuxedo,” Sanji snapped back, not in the mood for trying to decipher how the idiot’s brain worked.

“It’s white,” Zoro pointed out, as if that explained everything.

“So?” Sanji growled, turning to the nearest mirror, wondering if he’d somehow managed to stain the material.

And then, annoyingly sudden and silent, Zoro was far too close, hand on Sanji’s waist and hot breath washing over his ear.

“Always knew you’d be the bride,” he whispered, and Sanji felt himself choke and flinch and open and close his mouth several times before he thought to raise his leg to kick Zoro in the head.

“Don’t you dare!” Nami-san hissed from across the room where she was trying to barter with the store’s owner, and Sanji allowed himself to be distracted by her incredible beauty, only accentuated by the stunning wedding gown she’d chosen, and struggled to will away his blush.

If Nami-swan didn’t want them fighting, then Sanji would obey her every wish.

Although it was probably going to be difficult if Zoro didn’t stop humming ‘Here comes the bride’ under his breath.
