(Disney) In Hot Water
Title: In Hot Water
Fandom: Disney (Frozen)
Pairing: Kristoff/Anna
Rating: R
Words: 495
Notes: For
fan_flashworks, prompt "hot water".
Summary: "Are you cold?"
It’s not that Kristoff means to fuss. It’s just that he loves Anna, wants to keep her safe and, okay, maybe he’s a little overprotective. But he saw Anna get turned to ice, he thinks he has a right to worry for her.
Although maybe he’s taking it too far, and Anna punches him in the arm, fixing him with a firm glare. “For the fiftieth time, I’m not cold,” she huffs, and Kristoff tries not to look sheepish.
He shrugs, offers a quick, gruff, “Sorry.” He knows it winds her up that he keeps asking, and he even understands why, he’s even annoying himself at this point. Doesn’t mean he can stop though, not when he still has nightmares about her, standing still as a statue, lifeless and eternally frozen.
She rolls her eyes, exasperated but affectionate, pulling him down the hall to her room. As soon as the door is closed behind them, she’s shedding her clothes, gloves and boots and cloak and dress. Leaving a trail on the floor that he follows like the lovesick fool he is, growing hotter for every new inch of her exposed skin.
“So, I had an idea,” she’s saying, down to her undergarments and grinning at the way he’s flushed for the sight of her. “Come on.” And then she’s sliding the last of the fabric down her legs, completely bare, and Kristoff swallows thickly, always blown away by how beautiful she is, as if it’s their first time all over again.
Anna beckons him forward with a crooked finger and a cocked hip, pushing open the door to her en suite bathroom. A wall of heat bursts through the open door, thick and sweltering.
“Maybe you’ll stop worrying if you see me get warm,” Anna suggests playfully, stepping into the room, and he can see a bath has already been drawn, bubbles everywhere, steam rising from the water.
Kristoff nods, pulling distractedly at the collar of his coat. He watches in awed silence as she settles in the water, her skin growing pink with the heat. Dunking her shoulders and then kneeling up again, water glistening over her breasts. Her hair clings to her shoulders, looking more chocolate than red now it’s wet, and she bites her lip, looking at him in consideration.
“I’m not sure you can tell how not cold I am from all the way over there,” she purrs, eyes sparkling, arms folded over the side of the bath. “I think you need to come a little closer.”
Kristoff doesn’t need telling twice. He’s already shrugging off his coat, hopping awkwardly as he yanks off his boots, but he’s still mostly clothed when he half-jumps, half-falls into the bath, and Anna shrieks and giggles as he wraps his arms around her.
She kisses him, slippery in his arms, bubbles in her hair. “Maybe you should warm me up some more,” she teases, wriggling closer to straddle his lap. “Just to be sure.”
