ah, this is just incredibly lovely writing. I like how it feels introspective, and it takes Zoro and Sanji from a yaoi angle, and does it very well, so it feels real and mutual. I think that it's very Sanji to "simply understand".
He's wonderfully perceptive like that, and I like how you wrote Sanji cluing in on Zoro's tense shoulders, right up to the way Zoro presses close.
This indescribable pull between them, this understanding, and Sanji will keep taking the first step because he must already know Zoro will be there, ready to meet him in the middle with a kiss that is hungrier and messier and more perfect than anything either of them could ever put into words.
this is the perfect way to end the fic, I really like how this is basically focused on the quiet understanding between the both of them- which again, exists in canon! I mean, if they can fight as a team without words, when it comes to love like this, I think it would be the same.
