Summary: Shower shenanigans.
“Sssh,” Trip whispers, lips pressed to her temple. Except he also chooses that moment to pinch Jemma’s waist, and she yelps and swats at him. He’s grinning cheekily, eyes sparkling as she squirms and giggles, and all in all they’re both doing a terrible job of keeping quiet.
The walls at the motel aren’t exactly thick, and sound echoes far too loudly around the small, tiled bathroom. Bad enough they’re stuck here, she’s quite certain the rest of team don’t want to be trapped listening to her and Trip’s shower shenanigans.
Of course, she could have said no, could have told him to shower by himself when he winked at her and tilted his head towards the bathroom door. But the thought didn’t even cross her mind.
“You’re awful,” she tells him fondly, arms around his neck, their skin sliding together wetly. The hot water probably won’t last much longer, and she does need to wash her hair, but she keeps getting distracted by the way his hands roam over her back.
“Yes, I am,” he replies proudly, and she kisses the laughter from his lips.
