(Once Upon A Time) Dance Of The Blade

Title: Dance Of The Blade
Fandom: Once Upon A Time
Pairing: Milah/Cora
Rating: PG
Words: 250
Notes: For [livejournal.com profile] femslash100's Astrology Challenge, prompt "Capricorn".

Milah twirls her sword within her hand, her smile broad and mocking. It’s stupid, she knows, to goad Cora like this. The woman grows more powerful every time their paths cross, and it’s only a matter of time until Cora’s patience runs out, until she decides to strike Milah down once and for all.

But until that day, Milah’s going to enjoy every second she can.

There’s this specific twist to Cora’s mouth that Milah always recognises. It means that Milah’s truly got Cora’s goat, that there’s no pretending that Cora’s the serene and unaffected lady she fights so hard to be seen as.

It means Cora’s angry, and it’s that passion burning so fiercely within her that always makes Milah come back for more.

She dives to the left, feeling the rush of magic barely miss her right ear, ruffling her hair as it passes. Dancing forward and to the side, the flat of her blade connecting sharply with Cora’s ass through her voluminous skirts.

“You’ll pay for that,” Cora hisses, and Milah laughs and lunges. Sword sheathed, hands wrapping tight around Cora’s wrists, chests pressed close enough that Milah can feel the swell of Cora’s breasts as she gasps.

“Fine,” she goads, watching Cora’s eyes narrow. “Give me my punishment.”

Cora growls, and then she’s kissing Milah, just as hard and hungry as ever, as if she could take the very air from Milah’s lungs. Muttering insults against Milah’s mouth, but surrendering to her touch all the same.
