Yeah, Usopp has that awesome 'mad scientist' aura to him. Wants to know how stuff works, wants to touch and prod and understand.

And hot!Luffy was such a challenge for me, because he's such a kittycat, and I always struggle to think of him in a sexual context, and this was the first time I'd tried to write him that way, but I just kept thinking about the way he smiles when he's gearing up to get serious, and it just fit.

Heehee, Sanji is far too much fun to write as posturing!victim. It suits him so very well. And Nami's smart enough to just except the inevitable and make sure she benefits from it as much as possible.

Chopper has no idea what he's doing in this fic, poor lamb. Of course, I'm sure he would have been upset if I'd left him out...

I always knew Robin would enjoy herself, but when I was writing Zoro, he was so absolutely determined to fight everything, that I kind of had to make him suffer. Poor bastard, I love to pick on him almost as much as I love to pick on Sanji.
