Luffy didn’t say anything until they were safely back on deck, for which Usopp would be eternally grateful.

He was sure his own expression was one of pale, wide-eyed shock. Luffy was staring at him intently, the playful air around them suddenly and jarringly replaced by the concern and severity of a Captain recognising that something was wrong.

Usopp could only shake his head, mouth working but voice failing him. Could only let Luffy lead him to the kitchen, Nami and Chopper glancing up at them and, as one, going rigid, practically leaping to their feet in a battle stance.

Luffy helped him sit down. Robin appeared from nowhere with a warm cup of cocoa.

“What happened?” Nami asked in hushed tones.

Usopp squeezed his eyes shut, cradling his mug and trying to quell his trembling.

He’d seen many strange and disturbing things in his time, but nothing had ever jarred him quite like the tableau he’d just witnessed. Nothing had ever shaken him down to his very core, nothing had burned itself so vividly to the back of his eyelids. Nothing had ever made him squirm and gasp and panic quite so effectively as the vision of Sanji lying on his back, jacket bunched around his elbows and shirt pushed up around his chest, Zoro’s head moving obscenely between his spread thighs. And no sound had ever burned at his blushing ears in the same way as that high-pitched whine that had been heard through the tie forced into Sanji’s mouth as a make-shift gag.

“Absolutely nothing,” Usopp whispered, forcing a shaky smile, and suddenly wishing very much that he was alone.
